Madam:

The receipt is acknowledged of your letter dated
January 31, 1955, concerning the welfare and where-
abouts of your husband.

Mr. Bee receives his mail in care of the Embassy,
but he has not called during the past two weeks. It is
understood that he is on another field trip in the in-
terior of Guatemala. I will request him to communicate
with you immediately upon his return to Guatemala City.
