descending to a point, forming a kind of triangle; the sides of the neck, chest, and belly greyish white ;
under tail-coverts brown; wings brown; back olive-brown; tail slightly forked, the short centre feathers
and some of the next beautiful bronze; the single outer feathers on each side, which are the longest, are

quite white. Bill long and narrow ; feet moderate; the tarsi covered with brown feathers. The young

male a fifth larger than the female, with the crown more slightly sprinkled with spots.
