  <dc:creator>Webb, Thomas H. (Hopkins) , 1801-1866 (Creator)</dc:creator>
<dc:description>Silas Armstrong wrote again to &quot;Sister&quot;, this time from Washington, D.C., regarding her dissatisfaction with the purchase Silas had made for her in town shares. Armstrong reassured her that he had treated the investment as if it were his own. He told her that he had tried again to locate her float in the Shawnee lands, but that her uncertainty in all this business made him afraid to continue, for fear that she become angry with him.
