Circular to Kansas EmigrantsThis printed circular was written by Harry M. Beidler and promoted the advantages of Atchison, Kansas Territory as a shipping point as well as a city in which to locate. There is a map at the top of the page showing the distance from Atchison to various points in Kansas. The advertisement indicated that Atchison was the closest river town to various communities, particularly thos on the Kansas river. It discussed that Atchison was to have the first railroad connection in Kansas Territory. Beidler described the city and its various businesses.
