"This ferris wheel won a $2000 prize. It was the first ferris wheel in motion in the United States out of Chicago (the first being at the Columbia World's Fair, sixty years ago). This ferris wheel was 9 feet high and it ran slowly. The background in this window was all mirrors--the top oval glass--located in a corner window. The cars on the ferris wheel were 15 inch Noah's Arks. There were 23 cars on the wheel. It went around twice and stopped to let the dolls on and off. There were chains in the basement under the wheel to make sound of chains and cogs."</dc:description><dc:type>StillImage</dc:type><dc:subject>Ferris wheels</dc:subject><dc:type>photograph</dc:type><dc:format>electronic</dc:format><dc:format>image/tiff</dc:format><dc:relation>RH PH P603</dc:relation><dc:rights>The copyright and related rights status of this Item has not been evaluated.
