Dear Dre Allen:

I am certainly looking forward to the two-game series with
your basketball team, which will be played here at the Uni-
versity of Texas on December 16 and 17, and I feel sure that
we will be able to return the visit in 1959.

I talked to Mr. Bible this morning and he showed me your. let-
ter regarding Mr. Quigley. Since our two games are non-
conference games and we are guaranteeing quite a bit more to
you than we usually do a team for a non-conference game, I do
not believe that it would be a wise thing for us to bring Mre
Quigley down for just two gamese But on our return visit to
the University of Kansas, I would like very mich to have Mre
Quigley work our games at Lawrence.

I am listing four officials who I think are the best in the
Conference. You might write Mr. St. Clair regarding these man..
