Dear Phog:

I have your letter of July 1, and am asking the Business Manager,
Ed Olle, to fix up a contract covering the basketball games at
Austin, December 16 and 17, with a reciprocal guarantee when we
play at Lawrence. Jack Gray said he would write you in regard
to officials.

I am leaving for a short visit with homefolks in East Tennessee
and will return to the office around August 1. We will mark
time then until September puts us in “fighting togs."
