Dear Dr. Allen:

I was talking to Cobb Burnside a few days ago in
Oklahoma City and he said there was a possibility
that you would mike a trip into the Southwest
around the middle of December and possibly you
would be interested in playing Oklahoma A. & M,
College.

As you know, we are going to have a new fieldhouse
and I would certainly like to play you here, but

we are not sure at the present time at what date

we can get into our new building. Would you be
interested in coming to A. & M. sometime in January?
If so, what guarantee would you want?

I would like to play you each year, as I believe we
could draw a fine crowd here in Stillwater. I would »
also be interested in playing you at Lawrence, if you
would be interested.

I had a conference with your Mr. Dees this past week
and I believe we are going to offer him the position
as trainer here at A. & M. I would like to have a
letter of recommendation from you to present to my
athletic board.
