I note your basketball team will play Southern
Methodist University at Dallas, Texas, Dec 18th, 19th, 1938,
and I am taking the liberty of giving you information concerning
our service from Kansas City. We operate three fine fast trains
daily, schedule as follows: ~

RETURNING

Ar; Kensas City 10:10 PM 7315 AM 1:50 PM

The above schedule will give you choice of day
or night service, with through Pullman cars, or chair cars with-
out change enroute. Our trains are all Air Conditioned, just
recently having placed-a f{ceet of the finest air conditioned chair
cars in the country.

I appreciate the fact, you have reason, to favor
the Santa Fe as mich as possible, however in comparing their
service to ours, also due to the fact that we so very seldom have
an opportunity to serve you, I will certainly appreciate your
patronage for this particular trip.

The Santa Fe only have two trains daily schedule
as follows:

Ly: Lawrence SFE 8:55 AM
Ar; Fort Worth 10:25 PM
Lv: Fort Worth Texas Motor Coach 11:05 PM
Ar: Dallas , . 12:01 AM

You will note our day train leaves Kansas City
8:30 AM arriving Dallas 10;05 PM, without change enroute.
