Dear Dr. Allen:

Sinee we have been invited to participate
in a basketball exhibition which will be held at Marshalltown,
Iowa, December 27 and 28, I am taking this opportunity of asking
you to help me get another game on this trip in view of the fact
that it will be during our Christmas vacation, and since our
school does not start until January 3, I would out of necessity
be obliged to take care of our basketball squad during that entire
time. We would like to have a game on December 30 or 31, which-
ever date would fit in best with the plans of the other school.

It was a real pleasure to have visited with
you at the basketball meeting in Chicago, and I sincerely hope
that we shall again have the privilege of seeing you at the
Drake Relays in Des Moines next weekend.

Whatever you suggest regarding the possibility
of a game on either or both of the above dates will as you may
well expect be greatly appreciated,
