Dear Coach Allen:

The way things are shaping now, it appears
quite definite that we can play you in Lawrence on
January 3 or 4. However, we must be back in Chicago
for a game on the 6th and so would perhaps prefer
the 3rd, but are willing to accept the 4th.

Will your school be in session at that
time? Also, please tell me what will be your best
guaranty and option. We shall be willing to give
you the same guaranty and option in some future year

in Salt Lake City.

Please answer promptly as we are anxious
to close our preseason schedule.
