Dear Mr. Allen:

The University of Utah is contemplating
a basketball trip in your section of the country

during the Christmas holidays. We are very anxious

to have ethletic relations with your institution
and feel that early practice will help both teams.

Last season our team finished in a tie
for first in our division and we feel that we can
give you excellent competition. In a trip to the
Midwest last year, we won six of the seven games
played. The fast-breaking type of ball played by
our team was very well received by the fans.

I would appreciate hearing from you at

your earliest convenience regarding the possibility
of playing some time during the period from December
20 to January 6. If you could list your open dates,

we would be able to fit in our schedule with other
schools. I would appreciate it if you could give
me some idea of the possible guarantee also.

Inasmuch as I am anxious to line up the
remainder of our trip as soon as possible, I am
enclosing a self-addressed, stamped envelope for
your convenience.
