Dear Dr. Allen:

7 I was so glad to receive your nice
letter of September 17th.

We would like to play you in Lawrence
December 14th and in Winfield December c3rd. I believe
we can pack them in on this December card date. It is
near enough to Christmas that people will be in the
spending mood - provided of course you don't give us
too much of a lacing in the game at Lawrence.

Let me know when the dates are rati-
fied and when you want publicity released. The Winfield
community and in fact the entire southern part of Kansas
Will be “tickled pink" to know the game will be repeated.

Dr. utter a little prayer for me. My
first real team, under my own coaching takes the fieid
Saturday afternoon at 2:30 against Baker at Baker. I
imagine I will be a little jittery about that time.
