Dear Dicks
This morning Edd Wood notified us that he will be

 wmable to work our game at Ottawa on December 10. He and
Carmody will, of course, work the game here on the 7th.

I have never seen Carmody work a game, but I think
we ought to get some experienced fellow. 1 thought Wood
and Carmody together might be all righte What would you
advise in regard to another official at Ottawa?

| I don"t kmow what the Kansas Conference feo is, but
Carmody has agreed to work for $10.00, and we might get
another fellow that would work for the same price. If we
-get a high school official I think he should be a pretty
good official. I don't expect a big shot, but we should

- have a highly efficient young man because in games like
Cee ee ee ee oe ee
from the people.

This is just another story of young coaches desiring -
to work, then after you agree upon them they find that their
own games interferes
