Dear Dick:

Thanks for your good letter of the llth
instant. I am sorry that we cannot play our |
reserves against you at Ottawa, but we will
count on your playing our group here on the
7th of January, and doubtless we can arrange |
to play you sometime during the early part of
the winter. This will be with our "B" team,

Dick, I have been so busy trying to pro-=
mote and develop this new sehoak of physical
education that I am having the time of my life.
I drove up to see the Minnesota~Nebraska game
two Saturdays ago, and last Saturday I played
golf ali afternoon and enjoyed it immensely.

There are so many good things in life
that it is foolish to spend your time worrying
about petty details. | |

However, I do want you to know that it

was swell of you to write me, and a man does
get a kick out of an expression of his friends,
