I had ate: @ request to the conference for a meeting

of the Football Geaches before the beginning of the 1944 season. At

the Spring reeens the Directors voted to call such a meeting here
in Kansas a Lhe on August 12th, At the same time they agreed that a
meeting of the Basketball Coaches on the same date might be appropiate
They felt that this would be s good time for you to sake out your

~4S schedule, and transact sa other business that might come
before the group.

 

They asked that I meet with both groups that any problea
sertabetne + the officiating might be discussed at that oa ‘ceae
you have made other arrangements may I suggest that you meet at
Continental Hotel on saturday morning August 12th, at Sstene 6 o'clock
for breakfast in the Coffee Shop and then to a meeting room at 9:00,

Since Coach Lewandowski will neeé to meet with both

groups at will be necessary that they meet at different times. For

this reason I think it important that this meeting be called at the

time suggested and plans ma de to couplete all w ork by noon.

If you plan to stay over night in Kansas City it will
be necessary thet you mike Hotel reservations at an ours date, I
will be glad to look after this detail for you if you will write me
to that effect.

Since it is necessary that all coaches be present
before a schedule ca n be made it might not be a bad idea for you
to drop me a card stating your plans. .
