SUBJECT; Basketball Schedule.
T0: Athletic Director, Kansas University, Lawrence, Kansas.

1. The basketball schedule at Smoky Hill Army Air Field is :
now being formed and it is our desire to schedule your station for at
least one game. If at all possible a home and home game arrangement
would be desirable. We will accept any dates that you may offer; |
however, due to our necessity in booking the auditorium we would like
to know as early as possible the date you can play in Salina.

2. Every effort is being made to schedule the leading Army,
Navy, and college teams in the country. The Smoky Hill basketball team
will be one of the finest in the 2nd Air Force and it is hoped that it
will be one of the nations leeding service teams this season,

3. Our games will be held at the auditorium in Salina and our
visiting teams can be housed in hotels or on the Air Base. Necessary
transportation in Salina will be taken care of on arrival.
