JORDAN ; WILLIAM LEISER COMM. GENE TUNNEY GEORGE R. HOLSTROM, Secretary HOWARD DWIGHT SMITH _ Architectural Advisor The Ohio State University Columbus 10, Ohio November 29th. 1944 Dr. Fe. CG. Allen University of Kansas Lawrence, Kansas Dear Doe: Will probably get to see you here Wednesday night at the Kansas rally but you are always so darn busy at such times. While talking with you yesterday I forgot to ask you about what arrangements you can make with Tom Dorney about letting his High School youngsters in on their season tickets. I imagine you will sell High School tickets at a reduced price and that will be all Northeast would want. You see it is Tom's home game and he is under obligations to his students that hold season tickets. I imagine that his players, and the students will draw enought older people in to the game to justify it. Harold Reade asked me the other night if we couldn't get Marion Wools, coach of Wyandotte, to work his game with Rockhurst High the night of the 12th. I told him that you and Lew would probably have the same two officials work both games. They tell me that Marion is a good officials, and I have put him on my list to work in our league games but I have never seen him work. I will ¢vall Lew Lane tonight about the officials. I feel sure that if Ted works Marion would be alright. I am helping Bruce Drake with his games on Dec. 16th. and will be glad to assist you in any way you see fit; there is never any charge when I help conference schools with their games here. Sincerely yours, Konan R. E. Peters (yor) MEMORIALS THAT LIVE WILL HELP BUILD A STRONGER, HEALTHIER NATION This Commission works in co-operation with The Federal Committee on Physical Fitness—John B.
