Dear Doc:

A letter from Bruce suggested that we get Curtis for the
Dec.16th games. He also suggested Lance if he were ok with you.
Lance is available for that date, also the 15th. if we want him
but he has an opportunity to work at Bartlesville on the 22-23
unless we want him for those dates.

I doubt very much if Oberhelman can work on any two nights
since he has to keep pretty close to his bank; he could not take
a date at Ames for the coming season because of the time away from
his work.

I will see a Wiese in Oklahoma City the night of Oct. 28th.
Oklahoma plays T. CG. U. there that night and Abb is the Referee. Can
you let me know at once whether or not you think we should get him
for both week-ends, and whether or not we should get Lance for one
or both week-ends. I will need to know about this right away as .
promised Lance to let him know so he could contact Bartlesville.

Will write to Oberhelman tonight about the dates but
doubt his avaialability for either week end.

P. S. There is a possibility that Parke Carroll will be here for
the Xmas holidays, and even for the Winter. What is your
reaction to his working in some of your games,?
