November 20, 1944. Mr. Forrest B. Cox, Basketball Coach, University of Colorado, Boulder, Colorado. Dear Frosty: Glad to know of your plans for arrival in Kansas City. I am enolosing a carbon copy of the letter I have written Mr. Hoff today, stating that you would like to have an opportunity to practice on the hall floor around ten or eleven. I hope this will be possible. Sometimes the attraction the night before requires a clean-up process until early afternoon. Certainly I am sure you could have it in the afternoon, I will let you hear as soon as I have word from Mr. Hoff. I also note that you leave at 11:30. We are planning on you playing the second game against Missouri that night. Missouri has a much stronger team than either Kansas or Kensas State, and I thought it would prove a better drawing card. We will play Kansas State in the first game. I am sorry that we do not have a strong team this year to give you the competi- tion to which you are entitled. We have not decided on the backboard. Which would you rather use? Either one will be agreeable with us. : Yes, we do want material and pictures for publicity purposes. Won't you send the pictures to me at your earliest possible convenience so that I can be sure they get preferential attention? I believe that your game with Missouri will be a dandy and I am looking forward to seeing you and — boys. Will the wife and family accompany you? I presume not, due to rushe Thanks for your cooperation. With best wishes, I om Sincerely yours, Director of Physical Biucation, PCA: AH Varsity Basketball Coach. Ene.
