Dear Phog:

Received your letter of October 12th about you thinking Kansas
should not play in both double-headers, we are very muuch interested
in Kansas pleying in the one on December 15th and 16th, we know that
the best drawing basketball team in the country in Kansas City is
Kansas, and that is one reason we wanted to take part in the games
at that time, I am sure we will want to come on down and play the
two games any way, but if Iowa-Saehawks can not play both nights
why don’t you play as the fourth team the other night, but I am
very strong for Kansas being in both games, if Bruce does not want
to play bring Missouri in as the other team,

I like to play my tough conference teams in a non-conference
geme as I believe I would know something about them that would help
me in that game that counts. Iba tells me Bruce is tough to get
along with.

We will leave every thing in your hands, and I believe you
would like to play both week ends, and I am sure the basketball fans
in Kansas City would rather see you in four games than any one else,
why don't you ask McBride?
