C. Allen will just sit back he will have the last chuckle. Their suggestion were made as possible changes after the war. The one that interested me was, “Award a field goal when a defensive player touches a try for goal above the level of the basket after the ball has started its downWard arc". They ask to try it out and I ask you what coach has enough g--=- to ask another coach who has such a goon to try it out even tho it isn't in the rules. I guess they don't like to give into you on the 12 foot basket just like I hate to give in to you on the courte I'm wondering if it isn't time for us to be drawing up some kind of schedule, or find out what schools are plann- ing on having five boys on the court. I believe we should keep it alive if possible. I suggested to our director Dale Arbuckle that we meet at the same time with the directors in K. C. Sat. Sept. 4 and draw up eur schedule. What's your reaction. Would you be interested in playing four games with me this year. Say one in Kansas Citys; Oklahoma Citys Lawrence and Norman. I think we both could help the flattened wallet.
