Dear Doc:

Our athletic council has okayed the separate trips
for us in basketball so we will play home and home
arrangements with all of the conference schools. If
Kansas State is out, we can just go ahead and draw up
our schedule on a five team basis. I presume Missouri
and Nebraska will play two game trips as in the past,
as they haven't any Navy men. I understand Oklahoma
has Navy men. .

George is the secretary of us coaches. Remember
he took over in December. I wrote him Thursday of last
week and urged the necessity of a meeting Sunday September
19th. If I do not hear from him by tomorrow, I will get
in touch with him as we must get this schedule drawn up ©
right away. 1I'11 do the prodding, but under the conditions
I don't feel that I can take the initiative.
