I am wondering if Wichita U. is going to have a basketball
team. We will use Navy men and of course it will be necessary for
us to get back within 48 hours. i am explaining this because lial

_ dates. And too, I think it wuld be impossible to play in a tourna-
ment if you got one up at Wichita. We might play some service team
if you think that would draw better than Wichita University.

We have a lot of alumi in Wichita, and since they can't
come to sec us play, we would go to them. Please keep this confi-
dential, as I have a great number of schools which want to play
hither and yon, but I have turned them dowmm. But I would do this
for you if you think you could boost a good crowd.

I missed you at Washburn. I locked for you, but apparently
- you did not arrive. I would have enjoyed a chat with you.
