October 6, 1943. Ensign H. L. Ware, V-12 office, University of Kansas. Dear Ensign Ware: ee ee et anes Oy in regard to allowing the boys to stay later for basket- ball practice. I want you te know that I appresiate your fine cooperation. Within the next few days I will submit a list of the boys to you, and will designate the ones that I would like to have stay for longer practice. Of course, I under- stand that the boys on “restricted liberty" will not be permitted to stay later than 5:50. We are practioing at 4:50 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and perhaps by next Tuesday we will be able to keep certain of the boys later than 5:30. I will give you a list after our practice on Thursday of this week. Very sincerely yours, Direoter of Physical Education, PCA:AH — Varsity Basketball Coach.
