Dear Mr. Hoff:

In Reaves Peters letter cf September 21 he states
thet December 18 is open. He also states that the week-end
of the 10th and llth of December is open.

I am wondering if you will be kind enough to save
these dates for us. This is not necessarily for the Univere
sity ofKansas, but the Big Six, but I think we had better
ask you to hold them and either Kansas will take them or
Kansas and Oklahoma, or as many of the Big Six teams as we
ean get plus a Big Ten team, if possible.

What do you think about Rockhurst? Will they have a
basketball team, and if so, I believe we could play them on
one of the early nights in December and drew a pretty good

I am just getting my finger in the pie early so that
all the dates will not be closed. I have a letter from Bruce
Drake, suggesting that Oklehome and Kansas play on Deoember 16,
and I am for it. Let me have your ideas.
