The Directors voted basketball scouting, but limited it to one man on one game with a total scouting of Big Six games not to exceed four gamese The Directors disapproved the request of the basketball coaches for twenty games of basketball. The limit of players on the home squad used in conference basketball games was removed. (If we desire that the limit — on travelling squads be raised from ten to eleven, we had better take this up in the meeting March 22nd. } The basketball coaches shalh submit a minimum of ten officials on a preferantial basis to the Commissioner of Officials for appointment in basketball games, (Last spring when we asked that the Commissioner of Officials in football take over the assignment of basketball officials, our request was that the procedure we have followed for the past three years be continued. Apparently the sentiment of the Directors was against this, as you can see from their motion. This plan we shall now follow is the plan that is being used in the Big Ten. The basketball schedules for 1943 shall be made out at the December, 1941 meeting of the Big Six, and no games shall be scheduled the night of December 6th.
