Dear Louis,

I am wondering whether or not any ruling has been passed by the
Big Six against freshman basketball teams playing games this
seasone

We have received invitations to play police teams and other teams,
and I do not know the ruling. I am familiar with tne ruling re-
garding freshman football teams, but not with the ruling about
basketball teams. | :

I wanted to eat with you Saturday noon, but Otto Unruh, one of my
former students from Bethel College, Newton, Kansas, asked me to
go with him to have a photograph teken which he wanted to use for
publicity purposes for ouf game with Bethel on the 18th. This is
the reason that I didn't show up.
