Dear "Pete":

The coaches met last Saturday in Kansas City just

prior to the Stenford-Dartmouth game. Jack Gardner and

Louie Menze were not there, but the other four coaches -
Drake, Lewandowski, Sdwards and I met and submitted our
list of officials to the commissioner, Reaves Poters.

I em sorry that your name wasn't submitted by any
of those, and frankly I didn't include your same in my
list because the meeting was called rather suddenly. I om
writing to Reaves Peters now and putting you on my list.

I would suggest that if you could get Jack Gardner
to do the same we might get you in some of ow games. You
might write to each of the coaches and ask if they feel they .
oan put you on their lists to Reaves Peters. if you mow
Reaves Peters well and can work with hin to ee
on, it would be fine.

I will try to use you at the vory first opportimity
thet I have.
