“Air Hawks" of the Pre-Plight Naval Aviation School of Iowa City
in Kensas City on January 29th, and on the 50th we play the Great :
Lakes Training School in the Municipal Auditorium.

We trust that it will be possible for you to be present
with the band on those dates so that we can put on a really patriotic
party in Kenesas City. We will pay the expenses of the bend to
Kensas City and the entertainment during the time they plays You
will recall that I had previously taken the matter up with the
Chancellor and Dean Swarthout, —— I trust, will be
worked out for the trip.

| Since Missouri will play the Great Lakes team on Friday
night, and we pley Great Lakes Saturday night, they have been noti-
fied that we (Kensas) are hosts and that we are planning the party.
Our band will be the only band that will play for the games. I am
