ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION (INCORPORATED) Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical College STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA July 8, 1942 Dr. Forrest C. Allen Director of Physical Education University of Kansas Lawrence, Kansas Dear Doc, I believe that I owe you a letter from some weeks back and I am sorry for my delay in answering. I took a little fishing trip in Arkansas for a week and have been away from the office. You asked me to let you know if I was going to be up that way during the summer so that we could talk things over. I have already made a short visit up home with my wife and boy and I doubt if I will be up there again this summer. If I am, it will be sometime in August. I will give you a ring if I am in Kansas City and I would be more than glad to visit with you some afternoon or evening. In regard to the unpaid bill of $21.00 due the Kansas City Star, I will have my office draw a voucher for $10.50 which I will send to Jimmy Nixon at the Municipal Auditorium. Hoping you are having an enjoyable summer and that we can get together sometime later in the summer, I am Sincerely yours, Ce H. P. Iba,ยข- Director of Athletics HPI/c
