Dear Lieutenant Zarish:

I am sorry for the delay in responding to your
kind letter of the 25th ultimo inviting ow basketball
team to come to Fort Monmouth on our trip East.

' I regret that we will not have time te make this
additional trip as we have a game in St. Louis on Jmuary
first on our way home. We would enjoying going and play-
ing for the boys in the camp, and we do appreciate your

invitation. I sincerely regret our inability to accept it.
