February ll, 1943 Mr. Earl Falkenetien, Athletic Office. Dear Earl: + ae Wilde Sine Mes Sek etten, Jo» ee asking that you handle the matter. When we turned in the expense account I want to explain that — due to the uncertainty of early morning train travel for Camp the Southern Belle for Neosho. We were met by the Camp Crowder people, 4neluding Lt. Krickhan, and driven out to the camp. We ate at the Reception Center . and paid for our meals, and stayed at the barracks for the night, but we caught a 4 o'clock train out, which was late. We ate st on the dining car but the train was late in getting into Kensas City end we missed our connection for Lawrence. We did not get home until Sunday night.
