October 16, 1942 Mra C. Gy Bayles Dept. of buildings and Grounds Campus Dear lr. Bayles, The turn that you built on the road-way leading up to the back of the gym has been exceptionally good under most adverse weather ¢ tions, but the rain has cone ‘ to. it. It has cu deep gullies in it making that 2 under these conditions @ite a hazard. Z am wondering if you would be kind enough to ask your em ployees to fill up some of the gullies .and gravel some of the soft places so that driving will be a little safer. Thank you, sir! ; I has also rained so much since you spoke to me about seeing Tommie Constant regarding the monster ditcher that I doubt whether Mr. Constant has finished his grading. However, I do want you to know that I'm ready to go with you at any time that you deem it expedient and necessary. I have a class until 10350 every morning, but I'll rm over to see hin any other tine. Won't you give me a ring and set a time for us to go so that I ean plan for it? I believe that this completes all of the grading problems which have been very vital and necessary to the intramural program. | : Director of Physical Education and Recreation PCA/pg. ‘Varsity Basketball Coach
