This will acknowledge receipt of
your letter of January Slst and

I have delayed answering same un-
til we might have a Finance Com-
mittee meeting and I have no doubt
but that Mr. Henry has advised you
the action of the committee in ap-
proving the score board with an ex-
penditure not to exceed $400.00.

I believe that I favor the score
board as designed by Mr. Crow of
the Buildings and Grounds Depart-
ment if they can build it for $400
or less. I shall be very glad to
talk this matter over with you at
