3¢ Model stock levelse~=a, A model stock level for reception centers
will be established in terms of number of days? supply, based on the
average estimited induction rate of a particular reception contcr. The
model stock will be limited to the amount of storage space available to
the reecption centcr but will in no event oxeecd 10 days! supply. The
initial levels and revisions thereof will be determined by agreement between
the reception center and station commandorss :

individual equipment to be carried in the reception center stocks, ‘The
tariff to be uscd for establishment of levels of sized itoms will be bascd

4, Reorder pointe--A reordor point for a reception centcr as
defined in paragravh 19, TM 38=220, will not exist, Itoms will be
reordercd bascd upon issucs as cxplaincd in paragraph 5e

Se Requisitionse--a. Requisitions will be submitted periodically.
The froquancy of requisitions will be detcrminoed by agreement between the
reception centcr and station commanders, and gonerally shouldbe “calculated
on the basis of 1/3 the poriod of timo for which the modol stock lovel is
established: that is, if the levol is a 6sday level, requisitions should
be placed every other day; if the level is a Yeday level, rcquisitions
Should be placed every 3 days; if the levol is a 10=#day lovel it should
also bo placod every third day.
be Requisitions will be submittcd on WeDe, AsGeOe Form Noe 446,
They will be prepared in triplicate, the first pago showing the number of
pages forming the requisition, and will be distributcd 2s follows:
(1) Original and second copy to the station supply officor
conccrncde
(2) Third copy rctaincd by the reception contor.
Ce Upon issue of the supplics to the reception contur, tho following
procedure will be observed: !
(1) The originel requisition will bo rcecipted by tho reccp=
tion centcr supply officer or his representative end
returned to the property.officer conecrned for use by
the lattcr as a voucher for dropping property from the
stock rocord cards. woke
(2) The sceond copy showing quantitics issued and those items
not available and caneeled will be returned to the roe
ception center, indicating action takone

for the property account unlcss all unfilled spaccos in tho "Approved"
column have been crossed out. Any quantitics called for but not issued
will be marked "O", This procodurc will be followcd at the timo of issuce

Se Ducein procedurce--Quantities called for on reception ccntcr
