Dear Coach:

In determining the offerings of the Department of
Physical Education for the summer of 1942 we are desirous
of listing courses that will be of the most benefit to
those who have already started their graduate work in this
department at the University of Kansas, or who have defin-
ite intentions of coming this Summer »

We are definitely planning to offer #100, Comunity
Recreation, 3 hours, and #300. Special Problems in Physical
Education, 2=4 hours.

I will also offer either #200. Advanced Basketball,
5 hours, or #201. Theory and Practice of Athletic Training,
3 hours, Dr, Elbel will offer two of the following courses:
#202. Administration of Physical Education, 3 hours; #501.
Seminar, 3 hours; #194, Content and Method of Physical
Education, 3 hourse

Will you kindly send us your preference of the above
alternatives? Of course, you understand that we cannot offer
all of these courses, but we do want to offer those for which
there is the greatest demand,
