To Members of the Summer Session Staff?

At the bottom of this communication is official
notice of your appointment for the 1941 Summer Session.

You are of course aware that the enrollment
Situation is very uncertain this year. We are hopeful
that there Will be a reasonably satisfactory number of
students. If not, it may be necessary to curtail the
teaching activities at the outset of the session. It
must be understood, therefore, that every teaching
appointment this summer is contingent upon our enroll-
ment and that readjustments may later be necessary.

We have already taken some precautions in our
conservative fee estimate for the session and shall
do our best to protect your position.
