A379. THe ESTABLISHMENT AND OPERATION OF A JUNIOR COLLEGE. Three
hours credit. Discussions, investigations, reading, reports; a comprehensive
treatment of the functional and organizational aspects of a junior college,
with special emphasis given to standards, curricula, housing, financing, teaching
personnel, student population, library, recording system, teaching procedures,
equipment, outcomes, and articulation with schools and community. Students
enrolling for this course are invited to bring their own problems or data for

A399. ResearcH IN EpucaTionaAL ADMINISTRATION. Two to eight hours
credit. Required of all candidates for the degree of Master of Arts or Master
of Science or Master of Education, whose primary interest is in the field of
educational administration. The work of the course consists of intensive and
independent investigation done under the general direction of the instructor
in charge. To secure credit in the course the results of the study must, save
in the case of candidates for the degree of Master of Education, be presented

B264. THe ADMINISTRATION OF ExtTrAcuRRICULAR Activities. Two hours
credit. The development of practical method and technique in the organiza-
tion and administration of pupil participation in those activities which fall out-
side of the group for which academic credit is ordinarily given. Problems are
drawn from situations which arise in the course of the conduct of typical sec-
ondary schools. Course designed to meet the needs of both administrators

analysis by the case method of typical problems occurring in secondary school
practice. The problems will be drawn from any of the situations which arise
