The course in Educational Measurements is designed to introduce students to the changes which have taken place in educational practice due to the employment of more scientific instruments of measurement. The student will have an opportunity to develop actual ac- quaintance with standardized tests in his own and related fields. The work of the course consists of intensive and independent investigation done under the general direction of the instructor in charge. To secure credit in the course the results of the study must be presented either in the form of a thesis or as a carefully prepared report, whichever is suitable to the purposes for which the study is made.
