Dear Coach,

Thank you very much for sending me your letter regarding
the good basketball player who is {nelligivle to play in
your Conference,

I appreciate your kindness in writing, but since we have

out of state tuition, which is treble that of our local
tuition, there is no way that we have of handling such a
young mane We do not even have scholarships, nor dow have
luerative jobs that would enable him to make more than $20.00
a month.

fhe authorities here figure that that is all any boy can work
and still carry a full load of academic subjects.

I am sorry that this young man became ineligible for you by
playing one year at college.
