KANSAS STATE COLLEGE OF AGRICULTURE AND APPLIED SCIENCE “ DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND ATHLETICS MANHATTAN, KANSAS November 15, 1938 Dr. Forrest C. Allen Director of Physical Education University of Kansas Lawrence, Kansas Dear “Phog";: I have been a long time getting the information you asked for in your letter of October 27, but I finally obtained the facts in the case. Mr. Peterka has had his teeth examined and had his tonsils and adenoids removed sometime ago. Both the boy and his father are very anxious to have something done about the arm, and I have played up your skill and science to the "nth" degree. They can hardly wait until you have time to see the boy and do what you can for him. As far as I can find out the boy has been a normal lad without any serious sickness or acci- dent, and I believe it is possible that something may be done to help his throwing arm. Let me know when you can meet the lad and I will got word to him. Very truly yours 2, M. F, Ahearn Director MFA : LR
