I have your letter with reference to the Al Wellhausen
note.

If you will recall, we gave them a renewal of this note
for one year dating from July 2, 1938. In view of this
fact, it would be impossible for us to write and request
payments at this time, because the note will not mature
until July of this year. I did tell them when the note
was renewed that we would be glad to accept payments at
any time. However, having renewed it for a period of one
year we are put in a position where we cannot ask or
suggest payments. I am sure that you will understand
this.
