Pardon my delay in not answering your
communication of the 17th instant, sooner.

I have been out of Lawrence on Commence-
ment Addresses almost continuously with the exception
of the time that I would drive back to meet my classes
and then depart again. My'correspondence has suffered
and this has. been the cause of it.

If convenient for you, I will be very happy
to talk with you if you have not already left for the
University of Towa for summer session.
