My dear Sir:

Mr. Richard Tews, one of our graduates of last year,
informs me that he has made application for a part-
time position in your department. I understand
that you are looking for someone to coach the gym
team.

Mr. Tews is a very fine young man, a very good stu-
dent and has been a member of the gymnastic team
here for three or four years. I consider him an
excellent gymnast and also an excellent teacher as
he has had our four-year degree professional course
in physical education and coaching. I can recommend
him unqualifiedly for this position and hope you
