Dear Dr. Allen:

I am very anxious to get the proper set up to make this
a good tournament. Due to your wide acquaintance among the
basketball coaches, I am wondering if you would make some
suggestions as to some outstanding teams who might be
interested in coming.

I know exactly how you feel about not coming into this
tournament unless we have some outstanding competition for the
Kansas University team.

I am writing Nebraska to see if they might be interested,
and also Missourie If you have any other suggestions, 1 would
certainly be glad to hear from you as soon as possible.

I feel that if we can get either Nebraska or*Missouri or
some other outstanding team with Kansas University, then our
tournament would be made.
