Dear Dr. allen:

I have recieved word from Joe Williams, telling me of his talk with you
concerning my interest in working for my Master's Degree in Physical
Education at the University of Kansas. I am very eager to get my
Masters and have thought for some time of working a full year for it
rather than during the summer,

In order to carry out such a plan however, I would need a job to aid me
financially. I1 will appreciate your kindness in giving me information
regawding the possibilities of my getting such work at your University.

I will be happy to furnish you with any information concerning myself
and will make a trip to Lawrence for a personal conference with you at
your convenience, should you request it. I am very sorry that I
missed meeting you while in Lawrence for the Relays.

May I say at this time, that Lynne McNutt and Don Morris really
enjoyed their visit to Lawrence, They were very much: impressed,
