Dear Mr. Allens

Thank you for your letter of July 6th regarding rene ier
team's visit in New York next seasone

I trust we may have your favorable consideration and Hotel
Piccadilly may be considered your New York headquarters. In my
letter, I meant to convey that the reason we decided to set aside
@ special floor for the basketball teams, was for:their comfort
and rest, not because they were noisy. Perhaps you can realize
thet many people that come to New York, come for a good time

and stay up late, and the team whanagers are anxious to have their
players in a quiet section of the housee

The writer had the pleasure of running the Hotel lassen in
Wichita, “ansas from 1935-1937 and he is especially interested
in welcoming Kansans to this hotele —

suite, complimentary. We feel sure you would approve of our

as headquarters.
