The trip was contemplated as an educational venture as well as an athletic contest and inet dektaily, the thought of making a handsome net profit was also seriously considerede | Some of the important points under consideration was the desire to have the boys tes at the University of Michigan to visit Mre Yost and to see the wonderful plant there. For many of the boys it would not be possible to see a large University during their intercollegiate careere It was necessary to stop in Chicago overnight enroute to the Fast to make better chair car connections. Then the trip through Canada, giving the boys the experience of traveling on foreign soil, the wonders of Niegare, the exaultation of the United States Military Academy at West Point, the Liberty Bell at Independence Hall, Washington, DeCe, with the FeBel. Building Was stimulating. And then the experiences of New York, Radio City, and other Washington, DeCe tours, etc, made an educational tour that perhaps was worth the trip from an educational standpoints ‘EXE, INDIAN- DETOUR AND GRAND CANYON LINE A _ The Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway System ws; J / de BG sAllen, (Basketball im): - ae From__Lawrence Kansas.
