an He NED IRISH NINE ROCKEFELLER PLAZA New YORK, N. Y. December 14th, 1940 Dr. Forrest C. Allen, Director of Physical Education, University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas, Dear Phog:- I have been receiving material from your pub- licity department and have a few pictures, I could use a few more since we have a great many papers here in the City proper to service. There are eight daily papers and most of them will use any pictures that we are able to provide them. I wonder if you would like to have a practice court on Friday, December 27th, and if so what time you would like to practice on the day before the game. There will be ice in the Garden so it will be outside the Garden, I am making plans to have the period between the halves of the games on December 26th available for your team to work out. I ima- gine that this practice under actual game conditions should be quite beneficial. Regarding the inquiry on tickets and other com- plimentaries. We are in the habit of issuing tickets as re- quested by the visiting teem. We generally issue ticket re- quisitions which the players can dispose of so that the tax is paid by whoever picks up the tickets, On complimentary tickets for your personal use, we are in the habit of holding Choice locations and would be glad to accommodate you in the amount you desire on your arrival. There is no necessity for your paying for these tickets since it is our custom to do this with both the local and visiting teams, In reference to ticket reservations, they will receive our careful attention and will be glad to hold them up until 6 o'clock of the day of the game. If there is any further information we can furnish, I will be only too giad to send it along. Would you let us know also the time and station at which you will arrive. Sincerely yours, Bid!
